The workshop held at the MMCITÉ factory as part of the Art 5 course encompassed a two-stage process requiring creative design and manual skills. On the first day, the task was to design a seating unit for 2-3 people, and a 1/10 scale model of this design had to be brought to life within one hour using a limited number of wooden slats and adhesive.
My project, selected from the designs within the group, earned the opportunity to be realized in the implementation stage of the workshop on the second day. In this phase, my team and I were tasked with bringing the project to life using limited materials such as 20 pieces of wood measuring 200x5x3 cm, nails, a saw, and a hammer. With a given time frame of 5 hours, we successfully collaborated to efficiently transform my design into reality.
